I have a box of The Workbasket Magazines that start in the early 1940s and go into the 1980s. I try to go through one a week. The old pictures and patterns are great fun, as are many of the articles ... Ladies Clubs, Gardening and such. This week, I've been going through the March 1955 issue. I listed one of the patterns in my shop (from the cover) and another of the patterns in the free patterns section. And, although there is still alot of great stuff in here, I'm going to put it away for some other time. But, first, let me share (since this is public domain), one more pattern.
This is a knitting pattern to knit an infant pullover v-neck sweater. This sweater is like a tiny empire top and is just a bit different than the usual knitting pattern for our babies. So, if you are looking for a baby knitting pattern .... Enjoy.
