Prairie Flower Crochet Square Pattern

This is quite an attractive square motif pattern.   It is from the March 1955 issue of The Workbasket. They officially call it the Prairie Flower Tablecloth.

The pattern is crochet.  Other than that, and the crochet instructions, it is just a bit vague.    It tells us we can use the squares to create a table or dress cloth, chair set, etc.   It does not, however, tell us the finished size of the square.   It's equally as vague as to the materials.   Use any size thread with any corresponding size hook.    BUT, it is an attractive motif, should you wish to play around with it !

Thanks for dropping by,

  1. Wow, this is a pretty motif! It would be fun to try it out sometime! I love thread crochet and vintage pattern books. :)

I wouid love to hear your thoughts on this post. It gets lonely in here talking to myself!
