American Thread Leaflet 1063, Crochet Doll Dress Pattern

MORE GLAMOROUS WHEN MADE WITH PURITAN STAR SPANGLED CROCHET COTTON
This American Thread Leaflet, 1063, was obviously one of their promotion materials for the Puritan Star Spangled Thread.      And ...  these dresses are indeed wonderful.

The patterns are designed for small 7 to 8 inch dolls.    The front pattern is officially called the Chartruese and Pink Spangled Dress and the back piece the Blue and Buttercup Spangled Dress and Hat.   This leaflet is not dated, but I'm guessing early 1960s.

How I would have loved to dress my dolls in these dresses way back then.    Alas, born to a non-crochet mother.

I've scanned this pattern to a PDF file and it is available in my shop, should you want to make these up for your dolls (I know some of you have them !).    But, more importantly, I'm trying to get all of these vintage American Thread Patterns listed here in my blog (as I come across them) for the record.

Thanks for dropping by,
Lorrie
